Approach

Sigma Translations’ goal is to provide streamlined, flexible translation solutions that meet your linguistic needs, budget and deadlines.

We are a unique strategic partner for businesses in the cosmetics, fashion, non-profit, education, and public relations industries – and always work toward establishing long-term relationships with our clients.

Our approach is built on confidence, respect and trust, which allows us to understand and address our clients’ needs as well as the messages they want to convey.

Rates

Translation fees are calculated by the word. Our rates are competitive and based on industry standards. Proofreading and editing fees are calculated hourly.

For long-terms or ongoing projects, we are happy to negotiate flat monthly or annual fees which meet the project budget. Please get in touch to discuss this option.

Flexibility

Sigma Translations understands the importance of quick turnaround, especially for media, PR and publishing companies. Sigma Translations offers a 100% guarantee toward agreed upon deadlines, and is committed to offering the shortest turnaround time possible for all projects.

Sigma Translations is also available for short-term on-site contracts on a full- or part-time basis for the duration of a project.

Document Format

For translations and proofreading, we always prefer to work with final source documents to ensure fast and smooth service.

We typically work with electronic document files (such as Microsoft Word) and also have the ability to translate text formatted as a spreadsheet, presentation, PDF, or in a content management system such as WebFactory or WordPress. The translation will always be provided in the same format in which it was received.
